Lesh Houck Auctioneers Sells Early Quilled Knife Sheath for $9,200

Lesh Houck Auctioneers, based in Newport, PA, conducted an auction on March 25th of a partial local estate the had three very rare 17th / 18th – century Native American Indian items. The first rare item in the collection was a quilled double lane knife sheath that sold for $9,200.00. The second, an early quilled Shot Pouch that sold for $5,200.00. The third was a pair of early Beaded Moccasins the sold for $1,900.00. Authentic early Native American Indian artifacts in good surviving condition are simply rare regardless of form. All three items went to a private collection, bidding by phone.

Among other items sold was a 1934 $500.00 for $1,400.00 and a Marlin 444s .444 cal. rifle for $2,200.00.
